Environmental monitoring and DIY science kits for the community – for example, a set of air quality sensors to deploy on your block, water testing kits for a local stream, or a community weather station that neighbors can access data from. These boost communication (information-sharing) and governance, turning neighbors into co-researchers and reinforcing the Terrarium ideal of a distributed intelligence network.
